We are looking to hire a professionally qualified full time Senior Accountant whom can demonstrate up to 5 years of experience within a manufacturing industry, oil and gas industry experience would be considered an advantage. The successful candidate will be well-versed within the areas of ERP systems along with demonstrating a detailed insight across IFRS, to ensure strong governance and strong controls, across the regional operation and consolidation process.
Job (Senior Accountant Jobs in Abu Dhabi – TechnipFMC) Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting month end close JVs – prepayment amortization + End of service accruals + bonus accruals + invoice accruals + corporate and IT fees allocations and others.
- Creation of projects in SAP (WBS) for MMR and PS related projects.
- Invoicing in SAP (printing).
- Credit release in SAP (setting up credit limits + coordinating in getting customer financial health check reports through GBS)
- Fixed asset capitalization – full process creating the asset – setting up the useful life and depreciation. Coordinating with the business to review CIP on a regular basis.
Job (Senior Accountant Jobs in Abu Dhabi – TechnipFMC) Requirements
- Familiarity with the Middle East regulatory, statutory and tax compliance requirements and IFRS.
- The successful candidate must possess good computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is essential and the Corporate Reporting system Hyperion, is an advantage.
- The successful candidate must possess good interpersonal, communication, time management and analytical skills.
- The successful candidate must be a self-starter, enthusiastic and motivated
