Reporting directly to the Back of House Manager, the Steward supports the food and beverage operation by cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and the premises whilst maintaining hygienic standards and practices. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.
Job (Steward – Stewarding Jobs in Dubai – IHG Hotels) Responsibilities
- Maintain personal hygiene.
- Attend to all briefings.
- Participate in training.
- Follows House Rules and Regulations.
- Follows Health and Safety Rules.
- Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
- Follows Grooming Regulations.
- Follows Standard Operations Procedures of the department and the hotel.
Job (Steward – Stewarding Jobs in Dubai – IHG Hotels) Requirements
- Good understanding of English.
- Flexibility in shifts.
- Minimum one year of experience in similar role in a 4 or 5 * hotel.
- Concern for quality and attention to details.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and can multitask.
