Electrical Engineer Jobs in UAE 2022 | Dubai Jobs | Schlumberger Careers:
Managing and supervising the team of discipline engineers and designers. Ultimate responsible for the quality of the engineering being executed and delivered by the team. Providing training, support and development to the team. Developing and encouraging engineering progression through SLB programs. Assign engineering resources to proposals, projects and operation supports as needed.
Job (Electrical Engineering Manager Jobs in Dubai – Schlumberger) Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess engineering performance, quality and provide feedback for improvement.
- Undertake site or sub-supplier visits as required to investigate/trouble shoot/resolve technical issues.
- Assess team skills/competencies and create individual development plans.
- Monitor resource loading and develop action plans for staffing as required.
- Review and update practices, procedures and forms required for engineering execution.
- Support supply-chain with technical audits of sub-suppliers and fabricators.
- Rollout out new engineering processes and software.
- Check, approve and validate engineering deliverables for proposals and projects.
- Undertake FAT’s and other inspections/visits as required.
- Participate in model and other design review such as SAFOP meetings as required.
Job (Electrical Engineering Manager Jobs in Dubai – Schlumberger) Requirements
- Knowledge of LV, MV and HV systems, MCC, transformers.
- Knowledge of hazardous classification specifications.
- 20+ years Industry experience.
- Prior design work experience as lead for a minimum of 5 years in Production Facility Engineering.
- Experience in executing proposal, FEED and detail engineering of various oil & gas projects.
- Thorough knowledge on reputed client specifications and international codes / standards.
- All project phases execution from engineering to start up, including pre commissioning, commissioning and
- troubleshooting.
- Understanding of electrical studies such as short circuit, harmonic, arc flash, etc
- Having designed all electrical systems such as grounding, lightning, atmospheric protection, power,
- cathodic protection.
