Finance Assistant Jobs in Abu Dhabi | CSM Careers:
A Finance Assistant is a professional who is in charge of keeping track of an organization’s finances. They enter data into databases, prepare financial statements, process invoices, and support other employees throughout any accounting processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Being the first point of call to client facing staff on all Workday queries & questions
- Support preparation of month-end P&L reports
- Preparation of month end journals – Prepayments and Accruals, Accrued and Deferred Revenue and WIP
- Point of contact for any expenses, credit card related queries, supplier onboarding, supplier contracts, POs
- Assist client team with raising purchase order for OPEX related costs – contingent workers, freelancers, etc
Job Requirements
- 12-18 months of experience in industry preferred, ideally a qualified Accountant or equivalent
- Middle East accounting experience (VAT filing, audit, statutory requirements)
- Hands on, proactive approach with quick turnaround of tasks.
- Ability to get your head down and work within tight deadline
- Interest in and knowledge of sport and sporting events.
- Strong Excel skills
- Commercially-minded
