Our Middle East operation is currently in a strong growth phase due to the significance of some our projects and as a result we are seeking a Site MEP Engineer to join the GHD team, based in our Abu Dhabi, UAE office.
Job (Site MEP Engineer Jobs in Abu Dhabi – GHD) Requirements
- Electrical Degree qualified, you will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, from an electrical background in construction supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring and testing & commissioning and project handover.
- Responsible to drive progress and proactively resolve issues for all mechanical and electrical works such as HVAC, Firefighting, water supply for cold water and hot water system including Drainage system, ELV, LV and MV installations, BMS, Fire Alarm, PAVA, CCTV, IT & Telecom, access control and UPS/CBS systems.
- Experience of resolving design issues in the systems mentioned above, proactively coordinate MEP installations with other building trades, managing supporting project engineers and inspectors.
- Experience in technical report writing and client liaison at project level.
- Knowledge of CIBSE, ASHRAE and other local/international design standards and requirements.
- Experience in obtaining statutory authority approvals (ADDC, ADSSC, ADMCC etc.) and able to drive the submission process.
