As an Assistant Sales Manager you’ll develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the hotel, create and implement tactical plans and ensure revenue goals are achieved. You’ll also regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts. Specifically.
Job (Assistant Sales Manager Jobs in Abu Dhabi – IHG Hotels) Responsibilities
- Analyse local market trends and develop new business leads.
- Maximise all revenue opportunities.
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments’ adherence to achieving that strategy.
- Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market.
- Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities.
- Communicate with all departments as required within each hotel.
- Attend Sales events when required.
Job (Assistant Sales Manager Jobs in Abu Dhabi – IHG Hotels) Requirements
- Ideally, you’ll have at least two (2) years experience in a similar role handling corporate and leisure segment in 4 stars or 5 stars hotel.
- Ultimately, you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, proficient skills for written and oral communication in English or other languages.
- You will need to be flexible with working hours, having good knowledge of hotel system is preferred and with UAE driving license.
- The right candidate portrays a professional image at all times and posses strong multi tasking and admin skills.
