Systems Administration includes planning, deployment and administration of servers, backup and restoration of business-critical applications and SAN storage management to meet the application and data requirements of the IT systems.
Job (System Engineer Jobs in Abu Dhabi – Transguard Group) Responsibilities
- Ensure that the IT systems and storage design is in line with the enterprise architecture.
- Implement systems in line with the best in class practices to ensure high levels of system performance and availability for end users.
- Install all EMC products such as storage, backup solutions, replication, synchronisation and other.
- Lead the effective administration of various IT systems identifying errors in the database and ensuring timely resolution of same to maintain an error free database in eservices with high reliability of data.
- Provide helpdesk support services to facilitate smooth functioning of the Company’s business processes and resolution of issues faced by end users.
Job (System Engineer Jobs in Abu Dhabi – Transguard Group) Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication.
- Should have at least 3-4 years experience in similar role.
- Clear understanding of DNS / DHCP Operations and Active Directory, MS Windows Operating System.
- Knowledge of cluster environment on database level.
- Excellent understanding of the monitoring and creating weekly reports of all the devices through Op Manager and Arc Sight.
